1/6/2011 Plano, Tx - Third time is a charm for the Flower Mound Jaguars(11-11, 1-2) in district play against the Plano East Panthers. Down by 18 points in the first half the Jaguars were able to tighten up the defense and execute the offense to force overtime. In the overtime the Jags played with great confidence and intensity which led to the 65-60 win. The Jags hope to continue their district winning ways on Monday versus Plano West.
Jags shelve Plano West game
1/9/2011 FMHS - The Flower Mound Jaguars(11-12, 1-3) fell to an experienced Plano West team 61-81. The Jags started off with a high scoring first quarter but were not able to continue to produce in the up tempo game. The Jags will learn from the mistakes and put this game behind them as they prepare for the remaining district games. The Jags look to get back into the win column on the road against a very aggressive Allen team.
Jags Getting Better
FMHS - The Flower Mound Jaguars(11-14, 1-5) are playing better each and every time they take the court. The final game of the first round of district play Friday will be their toughest to date. Tuesday the Jags played at Hebron and came up short after playing a really good two and-a-half quarters. Friday is The Mound Showdown against Marcus and the Jags will need to bring their lunch pail and hard hats to stay in the game.
